What I've Been Wearing this Autumn

I love Autumn clothing, the cosy jumpers, Chelsea boots, warm scarves and everything in between. Autumn is by far my favourite time of year not just for the clothes, I love the crisp leaves and cold mornings; dark nights and winds that blow your hair. Isn't Autumn just amazing? Today, I'm going to show you three outfits that I've been loving this Autumn.

I'm a skint child so half of my clothes are from Primark but hey, you can buy some amazing things from that shop! Also, please ignore my awkwardness in some of these photos, I was on holiday when I took them and people were watching me - you all know I'm an awkward fish.

You can read my last fashion post, which is also another autumn outfit, here. It's all about shopping in the men's department, I love that place. Although, I accidentally walked into the one in ZARA and I didn't have intention on being there. It was the worst retreat I've made - everyone didn't stop staring at me until I'd left the store, lol.

The first outfit I've been loving is this grey jumper from Primark with black jeans and black Chelsea boots. I bought this jumper back in summer but they still have them in store for about £8 - they also have pretty much every colour under the sun as well as some stripy ones. I'm temped to go and buy myself another.

It's such a thin and light jumper so its probably not suitable for super cold weather but I love the v-neck and the ribbed arms. The material is relatively stretchy so perfect for if your on the curvier side. What I love most about this is the slouchiness of it, its sooooo comfy! You can wear this item with some nice shoes and black trousers and it will look really simple and sophisticated. But, if you pair it with some leggings and trainer shoes then you have the perfect down day look.

I'm a bit disappointed though. I must have caught the fabric on something on the arm and I found a hole the other day. Luckily, my mum's fabulous and mended it for me. For £8 though, I'll be getting myself another!

I wear black jeans in most of these pictures so sorry for not changing it up. I was on holiday and didn't have much else - not that I have anything else at home either.

The next outfit I've been loving this Autumn is actually something I got in the New Look summer sale. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find similar items in other shops! Also, sorry for this one being so creased - there was an iron in the lodge we were in but I was being lazy. Instead of having my hair down for this particular outfit, I prefer it in two french plaits, it just looks a bit better.

So many creases!!!!! Anyway, this khaki shirt is super light and soft to pop over another top - in this case I've chosen a black sleeveless top. I love the colour of this shirt and how flowy it is. The buttons on it are tiny and rather delicate. The sleeves are another aspect I love, they look so cute rolled up and held with a gold metal piece. This is perfect when it's still a little warm.

I fancy getting myself a checked shirt but I'm not to sure if it would look decent on me. If you think it would look okay, let me know what colours in the comments below!

My final outfit is definitely more dressy. I love this outfit so much but I don't wear it often as the skirt is super short and inappropriate when I go out to college. I'm not a skirt wearer at all, I hate them usually but I couldn't resist this one, I've never owned a denim skirt because of my hips but I found one that fits!

I got this red denim skirt from Primark, back in summer...again, and you can see how short it is. I do love it regardless so I bought it in black too! They're super comfy to wear and like I said, it's the first denim skirt I've managed to fit in because my hips are just to big. What I love most is that these skirts have POCKETS!!! I wore brown tights with the skirt and a pair of knock off Vans from Primark which were an off the spur kind of thing because my boots were killing my feet before college one day. For £8 though, I'm loving them!

Haha, I shop at Primark wayyyy too much because this handbag is from Primark too. Can you tell how poor I am? I bought this bag for £12 and let me tell you, it's big. I went to a gig the other day and I managed to fit two massive cameras into it, my questions, phone, purse, deodorant and perfume. Massive.

I have no clue where this top is from? I've had it for about 4 years now and I love it, it's so cute and goes with pretty much anything. But this is by far my favourite outfit this Autumn - it's a shame I don't wear it often. I should clean the house in it on Friday, haha!

If you want to see my fourth outfit I've been wearing non-stop this Autumn, you can read that here.

What item of clothing have you not taken off this season?

Until next time...

  1. Love these outfits, Sophie. You look so happy in each photo and I love to see that! I love the shirt in your second outfit. As for the checked shirt, I think you'd look fab in a navy one.
