One Unique

It's that time for us teens where we'll be heading back to school and college, if not this week, then in the next couple of weeks. I don't know about you but I always have a playlist I listen to on my journey to college so I'm going to share my back-to-school best hits with you that I'll be having on repeat during my bus journey.

As much as we hate to admit it, blogging is dying. Yes, more and more people are starting blogs and the blogosphere is massive, but who is actually reading our blogs? It seems to me that bloggers are the majority that make up our readerships and there's nothing wrong with that but where's the joe public?

It's no secret that high school isn't enjoyable. Your parents always tell you that they're the best days of your life. I think they're wrong, times have changed and with social media and keeping up with the new trends, high school can be hell for most people.

I was very kindly gifted these products by the Superdrug PR team a couple of weeks ago. It wasn't necessary for me to tell you about these products but it's the first time I've used this brand and wanted to share my thoughts with you all.

B. Cosmetics is a makeup and skincare brand exclusive to Superdrug and I've always fancied giving them a go but have never come around to buying any of their products. So when I received a package full of them, I was excited to get the stuff on my face!

On Sunday I had the chance to visit the 110 Above festival and chat to Marsicans, a band that I've worked with and interviewed before. It was the first time I'd met James, Rob, Cale and Oli and saw them perform live. They're all lovely lads and did a great job on stage.

The 110 Above festival is over a three day period, often at the beginning of August. This year, it was held on Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th. I saw the festival through a few bands I followed on social media last year and was desperate to go from that point forward. My wish finally came true.

Breast cancer is something that every woman worries about but I didn't think that I would have to worry about it at the age of 17. Breast cancer isn't something that is common in people as young as myself but it's still important that you check for lumps in your breasts. Believe it or not, breast cancer can also affect 1 in 870 men, which is a small figure in comparison to the 1 in 8 women it can affect (statistics can be found at Cancer Research UK).
