The song itself sounds very fresh, totally suiting the name of it, Wake Up Freya. What makes this song even better is that James (singer) wrote Wake Up Freya for his new niece before she was born. Wake Up Freya is a soft, refreshing and very catchy song, I'm sure Jame's niece will love it.

A few days ago, the band released a music video for their new single, it was directed by Callum Scott-Dyson. A creative stop frame animation made from cut up pieces of paper that are shaped like people, the sun, cities, eyes and more, make this song really stand out. The video really adds a sense of innocence to the song and it also makes you appreciate the lyrics so much more.
I interviewed Oli from Marsicans a little while ago all about their music and their thoughts on touring. This band are most definitely ones to watch, they keep releasing carefree tunes that will no doubt make you smile. These boys create such a upbeat vibe with their music and that's what I love most about them.

As I am not very invested in the world of music, I rarely look out for new bands to try but your posts always help me. I will give them a listen.
