I'm a big fan of finding outfits that are a bit different to what people normally wear, I love to be individual. So what better way to be individual than wearing my all time favourite colour, pink? I took a shopping trip into Leicester with my mum after I had finished my GCSEs and she persuaded me to buy this outfit from Dorothy Perkins, I'm glad I did, I love it.
The first item I picked up were these Blush Double Looped Ankle Grazers. I love the colour and it's a nice change to wear something other than jeans all the time. Ankle Grazers are my new favourite style of trousers and I'll definitely be wearing these more often. The fit is great and they are so much comfier than you'd expect.
My sandals are from Deichmann, I got them a couple of years ago and they are very comfortable. I struggle with getting sandals since my feet are so awkward, they look really weird in this picture actually! I wear this tan pair all the time, I also have a white pair in the same design. I live in Deichmann, they have some lovely shoes for such great prices!
This is pretty much the same picture, haha! This top, I found in Dorothy Perkins's Sale and so only cost me £7. I loved the abstract pattern, this is a bit out of my comfort zone, I'm not a big fan of a lot of bright and overpowering pattern, but with these trousers I could see it working. I am wearing a backpack in this so those black sections at the top of my shoulders aren't actually part of the top.
The sunglasses are from LoveTheSales.com, I received them a while ago and I couldn't get enough of them this summer! You can read my review of them here.
How do you like to stand out in the crowd? Bold red lips or some killer heels? Let me know.
Until next time...

More often than not, I gravitate towards black so I do try and branch out and wear more colour sometimes. I love this outfit - it all looks really flattering on you. I love 1950's style dresses so they help me feel like I look a little different to everyone else.
ReplyDeleteI move towards dark colours too but recently I've been trying to get myself out of my comfort zone! Thank you! I love 1950's style dresses! x
