Women's clothes can be super uncomfortable, especially when you range from a size 10 up to a size 20. Yeah, that's me. Women's size charts irritate me, in different countries we're different sizes but men, they're all chilled and normal with their size charts. I love the Small, Medium and Large range, its so much more simple. Although not all of men's clothes are catered for women, some of them do. And half the time they are so much more comfy!
I've got plenty of my dad's old clothes in my wardrobe and I love them, but they're not really fit to my shape. So the other day I was surfing through Primark and found a jumper that I've been loving recently. It's not the first time I've shopped from the men's department, some of their t-shirts and coats are really nice!
This jumper was £10 from Primark which means if you catch it, it's easily replaceable. They sell a variety of designs and colours too, so you don't have to stick to this boring grey. Be warned though, because you're shopping from the mens department, the arms are a little longer as well as the main body. This jumper is sized Medium and it comes down to mid-thigh on me (I am quite small though), I probably could have squeezed into a Small.
Made up of 78% cotton, this piece of clothing is super soft. Unlike any of my other jumpers, this one I have washed multiple times and it hasn't gotten itchy yet. There's lots of room to move around in it and I love how long the sleeves are because I feel so cosy when I pull them over my knuckles.
I don't dare travel into the jeans section in the men's department as I think that may be a bit too ambitious! These jeans are from the women's department in Primark and I bought them for £10, my belt was a few pounds from the same store. My boots are from Deichmann and let me tell you - they are so comfy, get yourself a pair.
All in all, men's clothing is sometimes better than women's. If you don't feel comfortable picking up men's clothing to buy, my tactic is to say "ahhh, Harry might like this for his birthday" and people don't look at you funny then. Haha! I love to challenge stereotypes, I might even go and have a look a the men's glasses on Monday - they might have a pair that suit me better!
Would you dare to shop in the men's department?
Until next time...

I do like the look of the men's section sometimes and often would like to wander over there but always feel a bit embarrassed! I have an old jumper of my dad's that shrunk in the wash and it's so cosy, I also have a plaid flannel shirt which my Mum bought me for Christmas! As my arms and legs are crazily long the men's sizes work for me!

It can feel embarrassing - I waled into the Zara's men's section the other day, unintentionally and it was so awkward because there was nothing to look at apart from fancy polo's, coats and shoes! Aw, that's good that they fit, I'm super short so I'm usually rolling the sleeves and legs up!
DeleteI do wear mens clothes! I like the oversized look a lot of the time.
