Is Origins Super Spot Remover worth the hype?

Spots are officially the most frustrating thing. I have suffered from acne for over 5 years now and I am fed up of it. I'm back on medication and am cutting out dairy still but somehow I still get spots pop up and boy, are they painful!

I was having a browse on Origins UK's website as I wanted to buy some more of their Out of Trouble, 10-minute mask to rescue problematic skin, and I came across their Super Spot Remover blemish treatment gel. I was a little intrigued so made the purchase.

For £16.00 I was very shocked at the size when it arrived. I didn't think to check the metrics before I bought the product so when I tiny 10ml bottle came I was a bit annoyed. However, bigger does not always mean better. I'd already spent the money so why not try it out.

It's recommended that you apply a think layer of the gel onto clean skin 2-3 times a day. I use it every morning and night. It targets spots, prevents breakouts and fades blemishes. I've been using this on my problem areas but now I'm interested to see if it could fade some of my darker acne scars.

Made up of mainly salicylic acid, a known ingredient to target acne and other problematic skin, the concentrated formula also includes witch hazel, clove, cucumber and apple - no wonder it smells good!

I applied this once and I could already see a difference in the size and redness of my acne. The areas that I had applied the Super Spot Remove to seemed less angry and red, the spot itself had also begun to reduce in size. I'm really impressed with the effectiveness of this product and how quickly it acts.

I have now finished the whole bottle and I have nothing to say other than wow. It works a treat of my problem acne, taking the inflammation down quickly. You do have to be careful with broken skin because it will sting which just makes me more aware of not squeezing any spots.

When I look back at the price, for how much you get I'm still not loving the idea of paying £16.00 for 10ml. It does seem a bit small but you don't need that much product. The idea is to use this on smaller, targeted areas so you won't need as much of the gel as you initially think.

Even though it does seem a bit too expensive, I'll definitely be buying this again. The Super Spot Remover has done exactly what it says it will. The gel is fast, effective and is perfect for when my skin flares up.
