My Top 7 Music Favourites of Summer 2018

I've had a massive playlist on repeat over the past month or two and I keep adding and adding to it. There's loads of new music on there so I've decided to share with you, all of my recent favourite artists and albums/EP's.

Ruel - Ready (EP)

Ruel is a Australian singer based in Sydney. He is only 15 years old and he's just released his very first EP, Ready. He has a phenomenal voice that has caught the attention of Elton John. He has some beautiful, melodious tracks, my personal favourites being Don't Tell Me and Say.

Pale Waves

Pale Waves are a band that my friend introduced to me a few months ago know. We were talking about Fickle Friends and he recommended that I listen to Pale Waves. They're a UK indie pop band with some catchy tunes. They've got some great songs out, their latest being Noises which I'm loving!

Lauv

I've been a fan of Lauv for around a year now and every time he releases a new song, you can find me listening to it. Lauv is an American singer with a dreamy sound, funky beats and smooth vocals. I can't wait to hear his album which he's currently working on.

Charlie Puth - Voicenotes (album)

Can I please marry Charlie Puth? He has some amazing music out with some fantastic collaborators. His second album, Voicenotes, was released in May and I can't get enough of it. LA Girls, Empty Cups and Done For Me are by far some of my favourite tracks Puth has released.

Panic! At The Disco - Pray For The Wicked (album)

After two years of waiting, we finally get a new studio album from Panic! At The Disco. Brendon Urie has the most amazing voice I have ever heard in my entire life and that really comes across in his new album, Pray For The Wicked. My personal favourite track in the whole album is Dying In LA (I like to think I can hit the notes just like him - which I definitely can not).

5 Seconds of Summer  - Youngblood (album)

I've always been a fan of 5 Seconds of Summer, they were the first people I saw in concert. I'm currently importing all of my CD's onto my computer and I have every single one of their EP's and every deluxe AND Target Edition of their albums. When they took a break, I was eager to hear what they'd been getting up to. They've re-invented themselves while staying true to who they are and Youngblood is a great album.

Billy Raffoul

If you're a fan of James Bay I'm 100% sure you'll LOVE Billy Raffoul. His voice is so similar but seems to be an octave lower, gravelly and a little bit more soulful. James Bay will always be an artists I love but there no denying that Billy Raffoul is his biggest competition. My favourite tracks of his are 1975 and Difficult.

What music are you loving at the moment?

Until next time...
