Amelgo: The Luxury Perfume Brand You're Going To Love**

I've been around Highcross quite a bit this week and I've noticed a new pop-up store; Amelgo. They are a growing brand that produce luxury scents in luxury packaging. The brand are gaining more and more attention, in face the other day, I saw a tutor at my college walk in with one of their bags! I was contacted by the brand prior to their shop opening, to see if I wanted to review one of their fragrances.
Picking out a fragrance when you haven't physically smelt the scent can be difficult. Like really, really difficult. Amelgo have a range of scents to choose from, which all sound amazing. I had some help from some of the people in my class at college! I decided to go with their signature female scent and the one that was the most popular. If it's their best seller, then surely it's got to be good, right?

Let's begin with the packaging. It's a sleek bottle with a lovely wood cap. The colours and sleekness of the bottle automatically add a sense of luxury to this product. For 15ml, you would be paying £17.05. The bottle is the perfect size to pop into your handbag which is what I love because I carry endless amounts of perfume and sprays around with me!

Gold Dust is the fragrance I chose. With wafts of peach, jasmine and blackberry, this is by far the most amazing perfume I've worn in a while. The scent is refreshing and is strong enough that you don't need any more than three sprays. My sister has actually stolen this and whenever I walk in the room I can smell it on her. It's not a heavy scent that gives you a headache (like some perfumes), but it's a powerful fresh scent, it has a slight floral aroma - not a floral scent that is overpowering, it's really delicate but you can definitely tell it's there.

Overall this scent is gorgeous. It's rich aroma has a somewhat delicacy to it with it's different scents infused into it. You can shop the other fragrances that Amelgo have to offer, over on their website. There's plenty to chose from, whether you're male or female. Like floral scents or more muskier scents. The range seems endless.

What's your favourite scent?

Until next time...

  2. The packaging of those are so beautiful! I really love the 'rentless' gorilla perfume by Lush, but i like to alternate between perfumes because other wise I get too used to the scent so can't smell it on myself anymore! Is that weird? x

  3. Like everyone else, I shall gush about the packaging of this product, it's amazing! It sounds great, I love scents with lots of fruity scents, I feel like pure florals can be really overbearing sometimes!

    Thank you for sharing!
