Betty Box: The Period Saviour**

The other day, a lovely lady emailed me about a subscription box for young teens when they're on their period. I actually met the founder of this company at The Clothes Show last year and was very interested in what they had to offer. Betty Collective are an amazing company that post articles for teenage girls, including advice sections, beauty and much more.

They also have a subscription box called Betty Box. This starts at £6.99 a month and you can choose to have it at the beginning, middle or end of the month, so that it is in sync with your period. I received the July box, and I think I'm going to have to get the August one now!

When you open the box, you are graced with this cute layout. The packaging is to-die-for! It is so cute and I didn't want to ruin it, unfortunately, right after I took these photos I sat on the box and broke it. Whoops! The box is split into four section, For You, For Later, For Night and a little pouch. When ordering the box, you can pick and choose from Always or Bodyform (two pad brands), You can also have just tampons and a mix of both pads and tampons. I decided to go just for pads since I was going to let my little sister, who is a newbie to periods, have the box.

The For You box contains lots of goodies to pick you up during your period. My sister was so excited when she was digging around the box. For the price, you really do get a lot for your money and who doesn't need a good cheer up on your period? The Balance Me Pure Skin Face Wash smells absolutely amazing, my sister said that it cleared up her spots so quickly and that that's a definite recommend. Also in the box is a Korres Bergamot and Pear Body Milk, I don't know if my sister has given this a go yet, but from what I've seen, it smells delish! I love those curly cable bobbles and so these Hairon Zero Crease Hair Ties were something I forced my sister to share with me. I don't go a day without using these, in fact, I have it in right now. It reduces the pull of a normal bobble, which leaves your hair healthier than if you were to use a normal bobble. In the For You box, there was a L'Oreal Colour Riche nail varnish. I love this colour (I can't remember the name, sorry!) and I'm sure I'll be sneaking it out of my sisters room.

Don't think that that was it! There's still a lot more in the For You box, which makes it all the better when you open it. The Candy Kittens Gourmet Sweets are an acquired taste, I liked them but my sister didn't. The Scrub Love Coconut Affair Coffee Scrub looks very interesting and I can't wait to have a pamper session with my sister. We also received an Anatomicals Deep Conditioning Hair Mask. I've never tried Anatomicals so I think I'm going to have to get myself some whilst my sister uses it.

Additionally, there is a small bracelet from Lisa Angel which is super cute! I had to take a close up shot just for you to see how lovely it is. My sister has been loving this and I've seen her wearing it everyday since I gave her the box.

In the pouch, you get a few of your chosen pads or tampons and some liners. I think this pouch is so cute and it's perfect for popping in your bag to carry your pads/tampons in, it's super desecrate to put into your school bag instead of having them lying around in a pocket where people can see them. In the For Later box, you get your chosen pads/tampon and in the For Night Box, you get a thicker pad/tampons for that annoying nighttime period.

Overall, this box is so adorable and I would definitely recommend it for those who are just starting their period. Hell, I might subscribe, I think it's pretty suitable for any age! My mum even said how she would love it. For the small price you pay of £10.50 per month after your first box, it's totally worth it. In previous boxes, there has been make up brushes, tea, perfume and much more. Betty Box only provide you with legitimate companies so you can always trust the products that you are using.

If you'd like to subscribe to Betty Box, you can here.

I also recommend that you go and check out Betty.me. because they have some super things on their site.

Until next time...
