The Body Shop's NEW Shea Range | AD

I'm a big fan of The Body Shop, I buy from them quite a bit. I especially like their Shea Hand Cream, I think it's a perfect hand cream, not too watery and not too thick. Shea is actually a nut and The Body Shop have recently released a new Shea range with lots of different products in.

I was invited along to an event where I was told all about the range. As I said, I love the Shea hand cream so I was excited to hear all about the new products in store and online. The range currently takes centre stage in my local store, with a cardboard tree behind the range, with little leave of information.

Shea is a nut and The Body Shop source their Shea from Northern Ghana and it is their very first range which supports Community Trade. The Body Shop source their Shea Butter from Tungteiya Women's Association where 640 women from multiple villages hand make the Shea Butter. The Body Shop have been working with this Association since 1994 and have been strongly supporting these women. The Shea used in the products you use take two days to produce and I was told that Shea isn't only in the exclusive range, but in around 250 products store wide (one being the Strawberry range).

The Body Shop are helping the women with fair pay, respect and care. The project has funded for schools to be built, health care and access to clean water for the women and their villages. What The Body Shop are doing is beautiful, they are allowing these women to become strong and confident whilst giving them fair pay and access to services that some are unlucky not to have.

Within the Shea Range is the hand cream, a body exfoliant, a body butter, shampoo, conditioner, a hair mask, soap, an oil, scents, shower cream, hand wash and lotion, lip butter and the Queen of all Shea products, 100% Natural Shea Butter. You can shop the range here.

Now, there is a lot there and I love the Exfoliating Sugar Body Scrub Scrub after trying it, but the real winner is the 100% Natural Shea Butter. Within this, there is 192 nuts and currently, there are 42 ways to use this. A small bit goes a long way (I learnt this after ending up with three tubs of lip scrub that I made). There are so many uses, a lip scrub, you can use it on stretch marks or acne, nappy rashes, an oil, in the bath, in the hair, I could go on and on.

Shea Butter is a rich ingredient that softens the skin and hydrates it, a lot of people with dry skin will use this. If you have damaged and dry hair then you should try the haircare products. It has a gorgeous nutty scent that us bloggers all agreed that it would appeal to both men and women.

The range is now available and I recommend that you go and check it out.

Until next time...

I was invited to this event held by The Body Shop (local to Leicester) in return for coverage. This is an advertisement.
