Meridian Leisure Park - Fun for All Ages**

A week or so ago, I was invited last minute to an event at the Meridian Leisure Park in Leicester. I love the park for it's array of eating places, fantastic Vue cinema and fun bowling allies. So when I got the email though, I was jumping up and down about the experience I would have that night.

There are a lot of Meridian Leisure parks around the country, so maybe you should visit one. Over at the Leicester park, there is a Five Guys which is relatively new, Bella Italia, Chiquitos, Harvester, Frankie and Bennies, Harvester and Nando's. If you want to leave the kids to  play, there is an indoor play centre called 360 Play. You can also find Hollywood Bowl which has an arcade and a Vue cinema.

At the Harvester, we were taught how to pour the perfect pint. Many people think beer and larger is something that isn't socially acceptable for women to drink, most women would much sooner have a glass of red. I was excited when we were going to be taught to pour the perfect pint because I'm a beer and larger kind of girl. To be honest with you, it's been way over a week and I can't remember much. All I can remember is to have a cold glass, hold it at a 45 degree angle, wait until it's filled until about half way and then slowly tip it until it's upright.

After we had finished at Harvester, we headed over to Nando's for starters. I'm not a massive fan of the Nando's starters but the hummus was quickly eaten up by the other bloggers. It was s really nice atmosphere in there and it is by far my favourite Nando's in Leicester. We were given Peri-Peri Nuts, Spicy Mixed Olives and Humous with Per-Peri Drizzle and Pita Bread. They all looked very yummy and disappeared instantly.

I love bowling. I don't get to do it often and that showed because I lost. Boooo! This place is where some of my childhood memories were made, I remember having birthday parties here and trips for maths (that was the most pointless trip ever but so fun). You don't have to wear any of the shoes anymore, which has lost the atmosphere a bit, but it's still fun! We all had a little match and I lost, I used to be fab as well! I blame it on my glasses - it's a good thing I'm going for an eye test next week!

As the night went on, we had all worked up an appetite and were ready for Five Guys! I did take some pictures of my food but turns out they weren't focused properly. This was my first trip to Five Guys, it never really appealed to me, but after chatting with The Hunna a while ago, I knew I had to give it a try due to their praises.

I'm a fussy eater so when I saw that you could pick what you had in your burger or hotdog, I was very happy. Finally a place where I wouldn't be asking the waiter to get rid of half of the food on the plate! I watched the burger being made and it looked gorgeous. The milkshake that I bought tasted lovely but when I started eating alongside it, I ended up with a bit of a burnt after taste which wasn't very nice. The chips were delicious but nothing could beat the burger. Oh my days, it was so yummy!

After Five Guys, everyone went to the cinema to watch Blade Runner, I unfortunately had to go home and get some rest before college the next day. The Meridian Parks are a place for all ages to have fun at, and I would definitely recommend that you visit one whenever you're near.

Until next time...
