Noughty but Nice**

I was in Superdrug the other day and I couldn't help but notice a new brand that had found its way into their shelves in the haircare isle. I'm one for trying out new brands, especially when it comes to my hair, I'm always looking to try new treatments because my hair is in a right state - it's a dry ball of frizz half of the time. Noughty caught my eyes and so I had to email them about collaborating. When I was choosing what range, I knew it had to be one that was going to give my hair the TLC it needs so I went for the To The Rescue range and was delighted to start using them as soon as they landed on my doorstep.

I cracked them open first thing to give them a sniff and they smelt AMAZING. The ingredients are shea butter, sweet almonds, olive oil and sunflower seeds, such a great mix of scents. Now I didn't have all of those ingredients to put into the photographs but I thought these almonds were pretty suited as that's wha your hair smells like after using these beautiful products.

Noughty make sure that they are as natural as hair products can be (they keep at 97% natural) and so their products are free from petrochemicals, parabens, sulphates and silicons. they are not only natural but completely vegetarian and vegan friendly, as they state that they don't believe in testing on "Bambie, Lassie or Skippy". Noughty are super nice (haha, see what I did there?) and I'll definitely be using them again.

The first is the shampoo, this is a moisture boost for damaged and frizzy hair - I really needed this. Filled with sweet almonds, olive oil, coconut oil, rosemary leaf oil and lots, lots more sweet smelling ingredients, the To The Rescue Shampoo really did its job. The first time I used this I was slightly disappointed as there wasn't much lather, my usual amount of shampoo with this range covered about a third of my head. However, I did read that if you wash it a second time you'll achieve a much better wash so I gave it another try and was very satisfied. Not the most ideal thing but the result makes it all worth while. I don't believe that you need to use this for any more than 4 days maximum as you can see the results fairly quickly (plus, you'll be going through the shampoo as soon as you've said 'Noughty but Nice'). You can buy this shampoo for £6.99 but Superdrug currently have an offer on where you can purchase it for £4.66 (who doesn't love a good save?)

The To The Rescue Conditioner is so lovely, one of the best ones that I have used by far. It makes your hair so silky smooth. I prefer to apply my conditioner on washed hair which is rinsed from any excess water, I then wash my body so that I leave it for a few minutes before rinsing the conditioner out. Conditioner is always a tough one with me, Noughty recommend that you massage it evenly through your hair, however if I get anywhere near my roots, I'm destined for greasy roots by midday the following day so I stick to just the tips. Stick to whatever works for you because moisture boosting haircare can cause oily roots from over hydrating the hair. You can buy this conditioner for £6.99 but Superdrug have an offer on at the moment where you can buy it for £4.66.

The third product I received was the Intensive Care Leave-In Conditioner, these sorts of products work amazingly well in my hair. Once you've finished in the shower, you should towel dry your hair and then apply this to the ends of your hair, I stupidly applied this to dry hair once and I was left with sticky hair all day. I use a small amount and cover my finger tips in it then run my hands through the ends of my hair. After I've applied this product I hope into bed and always wake up with great hair! The best part about this conditioner is that you don't have to wash it out. You can buy the leave-in conditioner for £6.99 but Superdrug currently have an offer on, where you can buy it for £4.66

The overall result is brilliant, I noticed that my hair was much softer and manageable, also after about three days my split ends had significantly reduced. These results lasted for a few weeks before I needed to use the products again. To The Rescue is definitely the range I'll be reaching for every three weeks. The best thing is, you don't have to use the shampoo and conditioner, you could quite easily use the Intensive Care Leave-In Conditioner religiously and still wake up with luscious locks.

  4. I love the sound of this brand. It always seems to me that cruelty-free hair products (especially shampoo and conditioner) are quite few and far between, so it's good to know there is one more on the market!
