If you've not heard of Hey Violet then where have you been? This new and upcoming band made an impact with the release of the first album on 16th June. From The Outside showcases all of their recent singles including Break My Heart, Guys My Age, O.D.D, Fuqboi and Brand New Moves. They have announced also that they will be releasing Hoodie as their new single.

Made up of Rena Lovelis, Miranda Miller, Nia Lovelis, Casey Moreta and Iain Shipp, Hey Violet have been consistently bringing out new music with a rock and alternative sound. In 2015 they toured alongside 5 Seconds of Summer and since then have become popular on a global scale. I have been introducing them to a lot of my friends and not one of them have yet said that they dislike their music. Hey Violet really tick every box.

Their album, From The Outside, is a smash, you can't help but sing along to the edgy tunes. Not one track sounds like another and once you think that Hey Violet have reached their full potential, they hit new heights with the next song. They really have done fantastic with this album. My personal favourite track is Unholy.

This album tells you exactly who Hey Violet are and I can't wait to see what else they have up their sleeve. From The Outside is the perfect album to listen to if you're going through some rough patches in life, with tracks such as O.D.D., This is Me Breaking Up With You and Fuqboi. It is also great to listen to if you're in a energetic and joyful mood with songs like Brand New Moves, Hoodie and My Consequence. If you don't have this album already, you are definitely missing out. 

I can't wait for them to come back to the UK so I can go and see them perform these tunes live. When I saw them as they were supporting 5SOS in 2015, I found them amazing and was excited then about what direction they were going in.
