Vevo DSCVR X Marsicans

Vevo are a name that you'll find a lot on YouTube when browsing for new music to listen to. Nearly every artist has a Vevo account, it's a massive platform with over 25 billion views every month. Leeds based band, Marsicans, have recently worked with the platform on their DSCVR program which focuses on the exposure of artists to new audiences whilst bringing their music to life visually.

Marsicans are a band that I personally love and am always happy to work with. Vevo DSCVR is a brilliant platform to feature on and has seen the likes of Billie Elish, Dodie, Lennon Stella, Lewis Capaldi and some other MASSIVE names. If you want to find the next new thing on the music scene, this is the channel you need to be keeping up to date with.

More recently, the DSCVR program is focusing on performance content that showcases the best of the artists. Marsicans are no exception. Their collaboration has lead to two great live performances. I got to see Marsicans at the 110 Above festival in Summer last year and they were phenomenal - I've said countless of time, live performances are 10x better than studio recorded tracks.

Their recent single, Your Eyes, has been advertised on YouTube and you may have seen it around. Personally, I'm a fan of Too Good which is sung to perfection.

Your Eyes is Marsicans most recent release and it's a great track. You can read my full review and Q&A with Rob from the band here. Marsicans have been getting more and more attention recently, earning a position on the BBC Radio 1 stage at Reading and Leeds. They'll be touring throughout summer and I really recommend that you get to see these guys live because they bring all the energy (and sunny vibes)!

Too Good is one of my favourite songs from Marsicans and this live performance just captures the band and their amazing talent. It was released back in 2017 and I used to play it all the bloody time! Marsicans really know how to make their live performances amazing and this new reach out is going to draw in a great new audience for them - just in time for all of the festival visits.

I'm excited to see who the DSCVR program works with in the future because they're on the ball with who is going to be the next big thing! You can keep up to date with them on their channel.

Until next time...

This is a collaboration with Vevo - I did not receive any benefits and there is no editorial control by Vevo.
