If you're not OBSESSED with these then we can't be friends

January is coming to an end and I must say, 2019 has been treating me well. I've had some lovely experiences with family and friends and also celebrated my blog's fourth birthday as well as my eighteenth. The past month has held some great memories and I'm looking forward to the rest of the year.

Over the Christmas period, I was very lucky and was gifted some very nice things. Some of which I've bought myself and others I've received from others. I thought I'd walk you through some of my favourite things that I've been loving this month.

There's a whole range of different things in here so watch out for a bit of technology, music and beauty. I really wanted to throw some fashion in here too but I've had barely any time to get photos. So for now, enjoy what I have to show you.

NARS Climax

I bought this mascara alongside NARS's Audacious one. They were both on offer so I managed to get the pair for £36! I love a good mascara and I've been wanting this one since it's release. Watching all of the influences promote in on Instagram really had me getting jealous so when I finally got my hands on one I was ecstatic.

I've been using Climax for a month now and have been loving every moment of it. It adds length and volume, making my lashes look so beautiful. It's got a big wand and the packaging is gorgeous. The only thing I have to say about it is that it has quite a wet formula and so you have to be careful when applying it because it can ruin your eye look.

The 1975 Live

I received tickets for my all time favourite band, The 1975, for my birthday and I was so so excited. I went to see them on Wednesday and had the most amazing time. Everyone was stood up but the four rows around me weren't so I think I irritated a few people with my dancing and jumping but oh well! I really enjoyed myself.

I'm a huge fan of The 1975 and will be writing a live review of the show. I'm writing it for some coursework at college so it will be a little different to how I write normally but I hope you all like the change.

Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Liquid Glow Extreme

It's no secret that I love Nip + Fab's Glycolic acid range. I use them daily so when my mum got me their toner for Christmas, I was excited to give it a go.

Glycolic acid is used for resurfacing the skin and brightening the complexion so I use it in hope that it will help heal my scarring and acne. I use the toner every evening and then an oil after because it can be quite harsh on the skin.

If you do decide to use anything with Glycolic acid in (particularly this since it has 6% Glycolic acid) please do a skin test because you can have a reaction to it. My friend had a face mask from the range for Christmas and didn't test it first - she ended up with a bright red and sore face. It is essential that you check that your skin can deal with the harshness of the acid.

Beats Solo 3 Wireless - The Neighbourhood Collection (Brick Red)

I've been wanting a pair of wireless Beats for ages and finally managed to get some in the January sales for only £149.99. I was looking everywhere online and couldn't find any in stock so popped into my local HMV the day after and they found me their very last pair with no cellophane one. Of course I took them. With a £100 saving, who could resist?

The sound is insane. In comparison to other headphones like SkullCandy and Sony, I'm honestly amazed. I tried some really good headphones in the store but these are crystal clear. They have up to 40 hours of battery and I've only charged them once (and that was when I took them out of the box).

I've been loving these all month, I take them nearly everywhere with me. They fold down and come with a case so they're portable. I love them. Let me know if you have a pair of Beats and if you think any other brand compares!

Umberto Giannini Grow Long Hair and Scalp Treatment

I got the Umberto Giannini Grow Long range for Christmas and I've been loving it, particularly the hair mask. It includes hemp, coconut, shea and caffeine to soften and strengthen the hair whilst stimulating the roots to help your hair grow.

I've been using this since the end of December and recently went to the hairdressers. She complimented me about how easy and nice my a hair was to wash and told me that my layers had caught up with the rest of my hair. I'm guessing the caffeine kicked in!

The products from this range smell so nice and do wonders for your hair. I really would recommend trying this range out if your hair is in need of softening and a bit of growth.

Huawei P20 Pro

I recently upgraded my phone to the Huawei P20 Pro which is a 2018 release and I can not tell you how amazing it is. At the moment, the brand are under a lot of controversy and by having this phone, I'm in no way supporting them but I am incredibly glad that I made the move from Apple because this technology is insane.

The phone has a 40MP triple lens rear camera and a 24MP front camera - the iPhone X only has a 12MP dual camera and a 7MP front camera. There are a few things I miss but there is so much this phone can do. Before, my iPhone was going from 100% to 40% in the space of around 4 hours. The Huawei P20 Pro lasts so much longer than that and on Ultra Power Mode, it can last for DAYS.

Benefit They're Real! Double The Lip - Shade Lusty Rose

I got this lipstick in a travel sized gift set for my birthday and instantly went out to buy more. I love the dual colour! I think this is such a pretty shade of lipstick and feels so nice when on. It lasts for hours as well.

I only bought a small version of it for £11 rather than a full sized product for £22 because as you loyal Instagram followers know, I find so many lipsticks I didn't even know I had in my handbags. I'm all about the compact life.

The Neighbourhood

The Neighbourhood are a band that have been around for, what, 8 years? I'd heard of them a long time ago but never really gave them a listen. Going through the years, my taste in music has changed a lot and The Neighbourhood hit the nail on the head (I still love you, The 1975). I've been listening to them non-stop for the past month.

So that's my January favourites. I'm really sorry I haven't posted for a while on here, I was brainstorming a few days ago and I should be writing more regular posts from here on forward.

What have been your January favourites?

Until next time...
