AD | IT Cosmetics First Impressions

I was very kindly sent two of IT Cosmetics best selling products to try out. IT Cosmetics are a beauty bloggers dream in terms of packaging, I'm always seeing them all over my Instagram but have never tried them myself. So many people rave about the makeup they produce (particularly their CC Cream), so when I had the chance to try out a couple of their bestsellers, I was ecstatic.

The two products I received were the famous Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream and their Bye Bye Redness Moisturiser (exclusive to Boots). I've never been so excited to try two products in my life, they both promise a lot so I was excited to put them to the test.

I've been using these products for a few weeks now and am starting to see some real results. If you've tried any of IT Cosmetics products before, let me know what product you love most! I can't wait to try some more of their makeup and skincare.

Enough of me rambling now, I'm going to get on with the actual post!

Starting with the Bye Bye Redness Moisturiser. I can't find this on the UK IT Cosmetics store but I did find it at Boots where apparently it's an exclusive item. The idea of this green moisturiser is to neutralise your red skin to create an even skin tone.

I use this moisturiser in the mornings and evenings to get it's full effect. Its made with colloidal oatmeal, aloe, cucumber, chamomile extract, avocado, chrysin, turmeric, collagen and peptides. That's a lot of ingredients with amazing skincare qualities. This moisturiser is suitable for sensitive skin too, which is perfect for myself.

Not only does this moisturiser reduce redness but it also smooths wrinkles and fine lines. I always use an anti-wrinke moisturiser at night so I didn't feel too bad about swapping it out for the Bye Bye redness.

Like the concealer, this moisturiser is a light green - which I'm assuming tackles the redness like the correcting concealers but it might just be me thinking that way. IT Cosmetics might have decided to play on that idea.

When I use this product, I barely have to use any at all. A small amount goes a really long way. It's got a creamy texture to it and feels so light on the skin. The formula sinks into the skin almost immediately which I think is my favourite factor of it all.

I am seeing a difference in the red tones of my skin since using this product. I suffer from cystic acne so this is really helping to hide it as much as possible.

You can buy the Bye Bye Redness moisturiser in the UK from Boots for £32.

Next is the Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream. I've seen this EVERYWHERE and have been wanting to try it for a long, long time. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous, holographic and Instagram ready.

I'm slightly disappointed by there only being 7 shades available and I was sent the shade Light which was darker then the initial image on the packaging. Because of this, I have to mix it with another of my foundations to get it the perfect shade other wise I look a tad orange.

What this CC cream promises is what astounds me. It's a full coverage, colour correcting cream with SPF Factor 50 and it's an anti-aging hydrating serum. That's a lot to be promising but I'm putting my faith into this because this is truly a life changing product.

With using Glycolic acid face washes, I'm in need of a sun protection so this is perfect for the job. When applying to my face, it creates an even skin tone and really is full coverage. The formula is easy to blend into the skin and feels lightweight. Unlike other foundations, I don't feel like this moves on the face which tells me it's not just sitting on the surface of my skin.

Like other CC creams with a similar packaging, I expected a small nozzle like dispenser, not a pump. I think the pump makes this product a little more upper market than your average drugstore CC cream. I like this aspect of the packaging the most.

You can buy the Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream from IT Cosmetics for £30.

The IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream range looks amazing and I'm hoping to work my way through them!

Have you tried IT Cosmetics? If you have, what's your go-to product?

Until next time...

  2. I loved hearing about this, I have really sensitive that breaks even at the slight change of temperature, so I am glad it was good for sensitive skin as well!

    1. Definitely! Sensitive skin is so irritating so to find products that don't irritate the skin are amazing! x
