A little while ago I was kindly invited to the Kiehl's blogger event at the Kiehl's on Wheels van that had stopped by in Leicester to welcome the latest store in Debenhams. I had never really heard of Kiehl's before but apparently it's been around for years and is a very popular skincare brand. I met a lot of lovely new bloggers and took part in a few competitive games to win some goodies.
We learnt about a lot of the popular products that Kiehl's has to offer and had a little try. All of us sitting at the table couldn't get enough of the smells and were fighting over a few of the products that we could win. One of the most popular skin care products was the Midnight Recovery Concentrate. If you use this at night before you go to bed at night, it will keep up a youthful appearance by making the skin more toned, refreshed and more radiant. It is made from Lavender Essential Oil, Primrose Oil and an extract deprived from olives - I'm sure you can imagine how lovely this smells! This can be bought at a Kiehl's store for £38-£49.50.
This one is for the younger audience, this mask actually will help with your acne. This was by far my favourite product and was so close to buying it but I had no money in my account. The Turmeric and Cranberry Seed Energising Radiance Masque was amazing when I tried it out, the appearance of the hand that I had a go on was so soft, bright and clear in comparison to the other dull and rough hand. The cranberry seeds act as an exfoliator and the turmeric helps brightens the skin and also reduce acne. You should keep it on until it hardens and starts to peel then wipe it off gently with a cloth that's damp. If you use it frequently, twice a week, then your skin will instantly look brighter and your acne should slowly start to reduce hopefully! You can purchase this mask for £29.00 at any Kiehl's store.
We all had a lovely time and when we were taking part in one of the competitions I actually won one of their lip balms which is great. It contains Sweet Almond Oil and Vitamins A and E, it also protects your lips from drying out in cold and harsh weather. You can buy this for £9.50. We also got a little goodie bag and one of the things I got was their Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash which I am yet to crack open.
I also got a lot of samples which are so good - I need to go and do a bit of shopping I think! I also got a small sample of the Amino Acid shampoo and conditioner which I am going to take on a weekend away soon and give a go. They are supposed to increase softness and shine whilst adding body and fullness, so I'm really excited to try them out.
What's your favourite Kiehl's product?
Until next time...
I actually never tried this brand but yes it has been around for a while. Good that you has fun exploring their products. Thank you for sharing.
