RUSH Hair & Beauty Review**

RUSH Hair is one of the best hairdressers in the UK and have been opening branches all over the country in the past few months. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend their lovely looking blogger event here in Leicester, but I did get an invite to come and try out their newest salon a week or two later. After hearing the raving reviews from my friends who had already been, I became more and more excited about going. I was due to have my hair cut before going to the salon but it got cancelled, so I thought 'Why not get a cut at RUSH?'. And that's what I did.

On arrival, I was greeted by two members of staff that were lovely. I was offered a drink, considering it was 10:30 in the morning, I decided to go for a cup of tea. I was so happy when I was given a tray with three Lindor chocolates and a couple of biscuits. What a way to start the morning, eh? Next I was to be consulted. After a chat, we decided to have a good two inches off of the bottom of my hair and some new and better layers put in. I was then whisked away into the hair washing section.

I think I might go to have my hair washed at a salon more often...I loved it! My hair was washed with Redken All Soft Shampoo and Conditioner. It smelt absolutely gorgeous and it did wonders to may hair, alongside the cut. These two products are supposed to soften and hydrate your hair. For a 250ml All Soft Conditioner it would cost you £15.50 and for a 300ml Shampoo it would cost £14. They usually have great prices on FeelUnique.

Before drying my hair, my stylist used this Kerastase Nectar Thermique heat defence, which apparently lasts a few dries. It smells lovely and really does last a while as well as leaving your hair shiny as ever. I have been trying to use lots of heat defence lately until I can buy myself some of this stuff. Products like these can cost quite a bit! For a 150ml bottle it can cost you £20.90.

Also, before drying, this L'Oreal Professional Tecni Art Volume Lift Mousse was used in the roots, so when my hair was dry and cut, it looked lighter and bouncier. Literally, everything smelt amazing, I can't emphasise this enough, haha! Usually you can purchase this product for £9.40 for 250ml.

I also got my hair styled into crimped/waves. I have learnt so much now on using a straightener it's unreal - I never dared touch one unless I was straightening my hair! I couldn't stop flicking my hair when I had walked out of RUSH. I am so happy with the overall outcome of my hairs condition now. It really needed a treatment like this and there was no one better that I cold have asked for.

Since I didn't attend the Blogger Evening, I missed out on a lovely goodie bag. I was very kindly sent a one though and am very happy with what I received. I no longer need to spend too much money on the products that the salon used. See what I received here...

A massive thank you to the lovely people at RUSH Hair & Beauty in Leicester and also to Claire at TANK PR for inviting me.

Until next time...

Sophie xx
