The only problem is, is that I spend a lot of time on my business phone growing our Instagram account, constantly brainstorming new content and finding ways to communicate with Generation Z - so much so that I've lost *my* passion: my blog.
I know how to successfully build and Instagram account; I'm always writing news articles for our website and I'm nearly always on Twitter. So why would I want to do the exact same thing when I get home?
That's the thing with turning your passion into your career - you lose a little part of it.
Digital communications are fun and all but I want to stip it back a bit and publish things that I've worked hard on and truly love. Sometimes it might be music, interviews and reviews; other times it may be my photography work, showcasing my journey; and I may also share my favourite products or outfits or whatever.
I don't want my Instagram account to be about an aesthetic or building on my followers - I get paid to do that daily and I really, honestly don't want that to be a part of my personal life. Instead, I want it to be my portfolio, what I love and the work I put my efforts into.
My plan is to break away from this 'blogger' stereotype and become Sophie. 100% me.
So, welcome to the new era.
