Kyan & nicopop are a songwriting duo based in LA and have been working on their own, new music for a little while now. Following their release of Unofficial Lover and Antisocial Socialites, the duo have just released their new single, Headcase.
Each of the duo have worked on their own solo projects: Kyan Palmer has released some of his own music, more recently his album Burn Mona Lisa last year; and nicopop seems to focus more on the producing with some of his past releases. The duo have worked with the likes of Little Mix, PRETTYMUCH, Timeflies and Bhad Bharbie. The pair seem to have a great deal of experience behind them which tells me that they know exactly how to make a hit.
The new song is a packed with funky bass and dreamy vocals, perfect to be blasted through every speaker this summer. Headcase is a get up and dance track that makes you want to move your body all the way over to that guy/girl you've had your eye on from across the way. Bit extra but that's what we like on One Unique.
Headcase is an electro-pop track with tonnes of attraction. It radiates heat, seduction and is an overall good, upbeat track, all the things we want in the summer months. I'm excited about this duo, their previous songs, Unofficial Lover and Antisocial Socialites are a breath of fresh air that compliment each other.
Listen to Headcase below:
Expect an EP from Kyan & nicopop in the summer months. I, personally, can't wait!
Until next time...
