What I Was Listening to in March

This playlist is a bit late coming, soon I'll be sharing my April playlist with you all. I don't want to miss out on this post though because there are some great songs on my March playlist that I think that you should listen to. There's some upcoming bands and artists that I'm loving and can't wait to hear more of.

My March playlist feels a bit sparse, which it isn't. I didn't listen to this playlist much at all in the month of March, I have no idea why: I just didn't feel like it. My throwback playlists were on repeat instead - can't beat a bit of Avril Lavigne!

Who is featuring in this my March playlist?

Dermot Kennedy - After Rain

Dermot Kennedy was a Brits Critics Choice 2019 nominee and I can see why. Over the past month, I've really taken to his raw vocals and powerful ballads. The artist released a self titled album in January, which is where After Rain is from. He is definitely one of my favourite artists on the scene right now. I would love to see him live.

Larkins - TV Dream

Larkins are a band from Manchester and are on the rise, their guitar rich music is going to dominate the indie scene. Single TV Dream is a catchy song, perfect for this sunny Spring weather. The band have just released a live album yesterday and have a debut studio album in the making - they're working on it with Dan Nigro (Lewis Capaldi) and Andrew Dawon (Kanye West, Fun).

A R I Z O N A - Find Someone

This American electro-pop band have been touring with Brendon Urie (A.K.A Panic! At The Disco) and have started to gain more and more popularity. Find Someone was released at the end of February, I'm sure there's a lot of dad dances to this song but regardless, it's a real hit and it makes me want to get up and break out the sprinkler (the dance move...).

There's some other great names in my monthly playlist but I'm telling you, watch out for April. With Billie Eilish, Circa Waves and Dean Lewis' new albums, it's packed with some great music. In the meantime, enjoy listening to my March playlist.

Who can you expect to see in April's playlist?

Circa Waves

This band are breaking the ideas of genre with their new album, What's It Like Over There?. I'm loving every moment of it and there is definitely a nice chunk of this album in my April playlist. Known most for their single, T Shirt Weather, the band have been experimenting and it's played off - I love their music and think that this is one album I'm going to have to buy.

push babyI found push baby on YouTube a month or so ago and only just added them to my playlist with their leading single, mama's house. push baby are formerly known as Rixton - the band took a four year hiatus and have come back strong. They've not lost who they are along the way and have created a great single. I can't wait to see what more they come up with.

Billie Eilish

What more do I say other than Billie is slaying it right now with her album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? I'm loving it, as it the rest of the world and you can certainly find some of the tracks from her album on my monthly playlist. Ramp up the bass, because she's blasting through the speakers of every car stereo.

There's going to be a lot more music content on here over the next few weeks so keep an eye out for all of it!

Until next time...
