Dress To Impress At Your Christmas Parties

I've been super busy online shopping, as per usual, this Christmas. I'm sure the rest of you have too. A few years ago, I did a little Christmas and New Years Party Outfits post and it seemed to go down really well so I've decided to bring you a more updated version! I hate shopping for parties, it can be super difficult. To help you out, I've put together three outfits for you to get inspired. I'll make sure to list every place where you can get each item, don't worry - they're form shops that you'll have heard of!

The first look I have created is for those who prefer to stick to trousers. This is something that I'd prefer to wear, I'm not a big fan of dresses so this is something I would definitely feel comfortable in. The jeans are from TopShop and they're the MOTO Black Jamie Jeans for £40.00. Black jeans are super easy to pair with tops and so I've chosen to pair them with this Solid Peplum Wrap Top from TopShop for £29.00. If you want to attract someone special, then red is definitely the colour to be wearing, you know what they say...red is one of the most attractive colours a female could wear.

I've paired these items with these gorgeous Satined Fabric Ankle Boots from MANGO. They would cost you £59.99 which is quite a lot of money considering but I'm sure you could get away with wearing some nice heeled black boots with this look too.

In terms of accessories, I've chosen this V-Quilt Metallic Crackle Zip Wallet from Victoria's Secret for £44.31. I love this because it's something you can use again and again.

I then chose a longer necklace since the top has quite a plunge neckline due to it being a wrap top. I picked out this Chain Waterfall Necklace from MANGO for £15.99. This is going to look so adorable with the neckline on the top.

Finally, I chose these Tassel Earrings from MANGO for  £12.99. At the moment, big earrings are totally something you should own! They are big and brash but make an outfit look ah-maze-ing

I've subconsciously chosen black and red again! This one is for the dress lovers, but to be honest, this dress is one that I definitely want in my wardrobe! It's Gabby's Party All Night Satin Dress from Harvey Nichols. This costs £90.00 but the justifiable because look at how stunning it is! I love the neckline with the small bridges of fabric and the pleats will give the dress a gorgeous flow.

I then chose to pair the dress with some lovely tie up heels from New Look. Unfortunately, these particular heels are no longer available but I have found a similar style in New Look. The Black Satin Ribbon Tie Heels look just as lovely and add a touch of elegance to the final look. There is currently a special offer on them which takes the price from £29.99 down to £17.99 which is a great offer!

I was adding some accessories, I thought that a piece of body jewellery would look fantastic, especially with the design of the dress. Originally, I chose a gorgeous piece from Miss Selfridges, however it is unavailable now so instead, I've chosen the Rhinestone V Bodychain from Miss Selfridges for £12.00.

When looking at bags, I thought that I needed to add some colour into this outfit. For that reason, I chose this Raspberry Red Shoulder Bag from H&M which costs £19.99. I love the decorative ring on the fascinator.

I had a little look at some makeup too, for this look. I decided on a Illamasqua Eyeshadow Palette - Delirious from Look Fantastic. This would cost £36.00 and I would use this again and again. The shades in this palette are to-die-for!

I then picked out a HUDA BEAUTY Liquid Lipstick in the shade Heartbreaker from Selfridges&Co that would cost £18.00. It is such a pretty colour and would match the bag perfectly! From the same store, I picked out a nude nail polish from OPI in the shade Mad About You for £12.50.

I like this outfit, I'm not sure if it's more of a Christmas or a New Years Party look but it's a gorgeous one at that. This is the iconic 'Boob' Crop Tee by Never Fully Dressed for £32.00 from TopShop. if you haven't seen this top at least once on your Instagram page, you really should start following more people who wear these kinds of clothes! It's s simple tee so I've paired it with something that not everyone would have in their wardrobe.

The skirt is from Miss Selfridges and it's their Vinyl Mini Skirt. You won't be able to find it on their own website but I've managed to find it on ASOS for £25.00. I love the pastel colour of this and the fabric. Not many people will be wearing vinyl in this way so you'll make a statement for sure!

Since it's winter, I've added a Faux Fur Coat from Hollister for £49.00. I love this, I'm not daring enough to wear faux fur myself but it's one for you fashionista's out there! Please, please avoid buying a real fur coat, it is a horrifying process that the animals go through and we want to protect our fury friends!

To keep this looking classy, I've paired this outfit with some Silver Shimmer Frill Back Pointed Heels from New Look. Currently, they are £19.59 rather than their usual price of £27.99, as they are on special offer. The frills on the edge are the selling point for me, they're so adorable! I love these heels so much.

I then picked out this L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lipstick in the shade Rose Tendre from Superdrug for £6.99. I think this shade keeps the simplicity of this outfit whereas any other shade, be it more red, pink or nude, would ruin the look completely.

And this is my day after look. This is my usual Sunday outfit to be completely honest with you! After partying hard, you'll want to relax the next day and what better way then a jumper, joggers and slippers? The jumper is from Minga London and it's their Rather Be Sleeping Sweater for £16.90. I'm pretty sure you all have joggers or leggings in your wardrobe but if not, you'll need these ribbed leggings from from PrettyLittleThing. You can get these Charcoal Rib Roll Neck Leggings Set for £25.00. This set looks super cosy, I'm adding this straight to my Christmas Wishlist! Finally, these adorable Reindeer Indoor Slippers are from Forever 21 for £12.00. Unfortunately, you can't have the cute sleeping dog as well. Booooooo!

What will you be wearing to your Christmas parties?

  2. I can't decide whether I prefer look 3 or 4... although I think I'll go for 4. It's the cute dog that brings me to the dark side and actually makes me want to consider of just wearing pjs 24/7 this Christmas. ;)

    Love,
