You can usually find me at a gig in the photo pit or shopping for another new outfit which definitely won't fit in my wardrobe.

Gigs, Festivals, Concerts....What Do I Wear?

This summer, going to see live music is what everyone seems to be doing - I definitely am! The thing that runs through many of our minds when planning our outfits for these events, is obviously 'What do I wear?'. Therefore, I have put together three outfits, one for gigs, one for festivals and one for concerts. There is an outfit for whatever type of place your going...

OUTFIT FOR A GIG

Keep it simple with a plain tight top and some skinny ripped jeans. Remember, you're going to be in a crowded area so wear some suitable shoes, in this case I've chosen some ankle boots with a slight heel. Add a small over your shoulder handbag and some gold jewellry (rings and a chunky necklace). To make yourselves look a bit more rebel, add a leather jacket and curl/crimp your hair slightly whilst keeping it's volume.

OUTFIT FOR A FESTIVAL

The fashion for festivals are always changing so this is a 2016 inspired look. You can never go wrong with a rustic patterned top and some shorts. Again, you're not in a practical place for sandals or heels so ankle boots are brilliant - they make you look a bit more chic as well. Fringe bags are always 'in' for festivals, whatever the year so add a bag with some fringe. Obviously sunglasses are a MUST for any festival and try to keep your hair up in a stylish up-do as it can get really hot in the sun dancing.

OUTFIT FOR A CONCERT

Let's be honest here, concerts can get really sweaty, so you don't want to be wearing anything that's going to contribute to that. Some baggy jeans (I've chosen boyfriend jeans) and a white crop top will do just fine, is simple and casual. If you roll up the bottom of your jeans and put on some low cut Converse, your ankles will be out which should keep you a bit cooler. Keep your hair casual in an up-do so it doesn't get into your face and accessorise your outfit with a bracelet (I've chosen a watch) and a simple and small necklace. Keep your bag small too because who wants to be carrying around a huge bag at a concert?

I hope you enjoyed this and are all ready for any live music events! I wish I had a couple more this summer to attend *sad face*...

Until next time...

  1. I think the word you're looking for is realistic not rustic! CP MM is not a relic, she's has a querky sense of style that makes her quite refreshing to see !
