Getting Body Ready For Summer

I'm pretty lazy so I don't know why I'm writing this post - it's not for my own benefit I tell you. but, this is for all of you who want to start getting fit for summer's arrival, which is very soon! I will be showing you several things in this posts, apps, products and exercise routines. The reason why I'm not doing recipes is because I'm too lazy to make them but you all know how to eat healthily anyway! I hope you get some motivation from this post to get up and get your summer body going!

Beauty Products: Nip +Fab

Nip + Fab are a great company to get your products from, they do a range of creams and gels to help you achieve your summer body easily with no hassle. here are a few of them...

1 - Gylicolic Fix
2 - Upper Arm Fix
3 - Tummy Fix
4 -Hyaluronic Fix
5 - Bust Fix
6 - Body Slim Fix
7 - Body Shimmer Leg Fix
8 - Cellulite Fix
9 - Yoga Blend Body Wash
10 - Detox Blend Body Lotion
11 - De Stress Blend Body Lotion

Beauty Products: Other

So these are just some other beauty products that I picked out that will help you. For these, I will write a little about each one because sometimes it's not very clear.

1 - Clarins 'Super Restorative' Refining Body Cream: This firms, shapes and streamlines you lower abdomen and waist.
2 - The Body Shop's Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisteriser: This moisteriser gives your skin a warm glow bu energising and hydrating your skin.
3 - COWSHED Slender Cow Extra-Firming Body Butter: This body butter tones and conditions your skin improving the overall look and feel. DO NOT use if pregnant or have a nut allergy!
4 - Bliss Love Handler Waist targeting Cooling Gel: This product targets your waist and 'Love Handles' (the pieces of fat above your waist) in order to reduce them and tone them up.
5 - Lush's Bublegum Lip Scrub: There are other flavors available from Lush. this is a great product for exfoliating you lips and getting a plumper look, don't use it too often however as it can damage your lips.
6 - St Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion: This is a newer product to St Tropez, you use it in the shower to gradually tan yourself and get a more natural and even tan all over.

Let's be honest, none of us want to exercise unless we have the right workout clothes to do so. You can get workout gear from any shop, Primark To Victoria's Secret. Just to give you an idea of whats in store for you all, I've just put a few items into a collage.

This is what is available in New Look. There is a tonne more but I couldn't fit it all on! I love all of this, they do shoes and bags as well. Because it's pretty cheap, you can buy quite a lot of it in one go!

Here's what sort of things you can get from Victoria's Secret. It's always nice to have something with a big brand name on but a lot of this is expensive for sports wear! I would probably only go out and be able to afford some yoga pants!

Exercise Routines

I'm not going to put much here, just a few tips to help you all!

Yoga is a great thing to do to tone and strengthen your body plus it's relaxing. Another way of toning your body up is swimming, if you have a local swimming pool, start going once or twice a week. If you local gym has squash courts, take a friend to go and play some squash - it's a fun way of losing some weight as it's so energetic and fun!

If you want to lose some weight, cardio is the way to go! You should be doing about 5 30 minute sessions a week but if you can't do 5, maybe try three. Running is good for cardio but it can damage your ankles so  you have to be extra careful! If you want to stay indoors to do your cardio, lunges, squats, push ups, crunches, sit-ups, high knees, mountain climbers, combat and burpees are good exercises. Don't push yourself too hard though, if you can't do it, Google an easier way of doing them or skip that particular exercise. One tip that I want to mentions, is to take 1-2 minute breaks because it leaves your body burning the fat for longer, I don't know why, it just does (I don't want to look up all that sciency stuff because it will get awfully confusing!).

Useful Apps

Sworkit - All you do is choose your preferred routine and what you want to work on and Sworkit will them build up a customised exercise regime.

Zombies, Run! - This app makes you feel like you're being chased by zombies when you're out on your run. It will map out your run for you and give you check points to pick up 'supplies' on your way.

FitStar Yoga - Your fitness will be measured and then it will make a customised yoga routine for yourself, it's a great and simple way of taking up yoga. (IOS only)

Food Switch - You scan the barcode of the food you're going to pick up and it will inform you if it's high, medium or low in fat, saturated fat and sugar. It then gives you a choice of items which are similar but healthier.

Tep - This app tracks you steps, the more steps you do, the more coins you earn to feed you pet giraffe (in the app), if you slack, the giraffe will go without food. You better keep feeding you pet giraffe or else!

I hope that helped you out a bit, that my lazy guide to how to look good for summer. To be truthful, all I do is buy the beauty products and hope for the best, haha!

Until next time...

Sophie xx
