March Favourites

So, I have been gathering some things up lately that I love. I want to share them with you because I really think they are worth every penny. here they are! There are some creative ideas and quite a few products that I've heard a lot of hype about.

First up are Starbucks cups. I had a load for my art classes once and then I never used them so I have been trying to find places all over the house to use them. So far, I have two for my make up brushes and two for all me pends and pencils as you can see here. They are so cool, literally all you have to do is write what is going in it or put a little design on it and they look so cute and artsy. Oh, and they are so cheap - you can go and buy a Starbucks drink to take away, or ask for one for an art project and they'll more than likely give you one if it's not rush hour!

This is honestly my saviour. I go to bed with wet hair and wake up with curly and uncontrollable hair. John Frieda Frizz-Ease Original 6 Effects Serum (£6.29 at Boots) lasts a long time, I have had this particular bottle for a year now.  I use a pumps worth of this stuff and I can go the rest of the day with catwalk worthy hair. I have tried other frizz control products but this is defiantly the best!

If you haven't guessed by my endless posts, I love The Body Shop. So I had to go and buy the Aloe Calming Facial Cleanser (£9.50) and the Aloe Calming Toner (£9.50). The Aloe range is aimed at people with sensitive skin and it really is amazing. It really does calm your face and it is nice for when you apply your make up because your skin is so soft and smooth. This is a definite recommendation.

This is the Nip + Fab Skin - Dragon's Blood Plumping Serum. I saw that Kylie Jenner used it and recommended it so I went and bought it when it was on offer. I have tried so many serums but this is by far the best, it hydrates and plumps that skin and it is fabulous for a primer sort of thing. When you put this under your foundation, you final product (make up wise) looks so flawless. You can buy it from Boots for £19.95 but it's on offer at the minute for £13.30.

Yes, these are loom bands. They are so cheap now because they have gone completely out, if you are looking to get rid of some what I am about to tell you is going to blow your mind (not really). So you know when you sleep in plaits or go out in them all so that your hair goes curly, these are fantastic. You have to be careful that your hair doesn't get stuck in them though. They don't leave those awful bobble marks and if you want to go out with your hair in some cool style, if you have the clear ones, nobody notices them!

I just had to buy myself a MAC lipstick, I then ended up going back to the store and buying another one. These colours are Taupe (left) and Teddy Bear (right) and they are both in Matte. They cost £15.50 each from any MAC store. They are two of the best lipsticks I have ever bought, they last forever and they feel so nice on you lips - they're so soft. If you have wanted one of these and don't know if you should get one just because of the price, treat yourself because it will be one of the best make up products you will buy in a while.

Sorry for the quality of this image, I had to take it last minute at like 8 pm. But I needed to include these W7 eye pallets. I bought these from an outlet store the other day and I thought that I'd try them out. I bought In The Mood and In The City, I don't actually think they are available anymore, but these eyeshadows are brilliant - I have had so many compliments, they are so easy to blend and the colours are gorgeous. You can buy a similar pallet for £9.99 at the W7 website.

I hope you enjoyed this post, and got some good recommendations from it!

Until next time...

Sophie xx
