It's Christmas Time For Yankee Candle!

It is finally here! I have been waiting for the Yankee Candle Christmas range to come out for ages! I spent £11.11 in the shop today for these but it was worth it. I can't choose which one I like the best they all smell sooooo nice. I went and bought one wax melt which I don't think is part of the Christmas range but definitely deserves to be, and I also bought 5 votive candles which were in the Christmas range.

To start off I am going to show you the wax melt tart that I bought. It is called Fireside Treats and it cost me £1.11 as it was on offer in this particular shop. It has quite a musky type smell yet it's sweet at the same time. It smells like marshmallows roasting on a fire, with a hint of the burning of the wood. I cannot wait for this smell to go around the house!

Just a bit about the packaging for these. I bought the Christmas collection (bottom) for £8.99 and am in love with them. The box that they are in is so Christmassy - it is gorgeous, I actually don't want to throw it away! Also, the shop gave me this bag instead of a plastic bag and I thought it was absolutely adorable!

Lets get on with the candles!

This candle is called 'Berry Trifle' - obviously. It smells lovely! Cherries, raspberries, strawberries, cranberries; I can even smell a bit of cream. I am in love with this smell, I literally want to eat it...but I can't.

Honestly, you will feel so nostalgic when you smell 'Christmas Cookie'. It's like grandma's house, or baking with your mum. It is quite a sweet smell - like unbaked cookies, cookie dough. Personally, I don't think this smell is for everyone but it is definitely for me!

This one is a lot like the wax tart but has a much more muskier smell. 'Cosy By The Fire' got an instant 10/10 with my mum! It has a bit of a mulled wine smell and has a lovely musky smell to it. I love the colour of it too!

You know that gorgeous smell you inhale when you step outside into the untouched, crisp snow for the first time in a year? 'Winter Glow' replicates exactly that. I feel like I have just stepped out of the house in my woollen scarf, hats and gloves, all wrapped up warm - into the freezing snow. This just makes you so excited for the snow to come.

(Sorry for the terrible photo) Finally, I have saved the 'best' til last. I said I couldn't choose a favourite but secretly I think this is my best. 'Bundle Up' smells of freshly washed clothes that you are wrapped up in because it is freezing. A bit like the kids on the picture, you feel warm inside warm inside when you smell this. I cannot wait to light this candle!

That is it today! Please, please, please go out and purchase at least one of Yankee Candle's Christmas range - you seriously won't regret it! The link to the Yankee Candle website will be at the bottom of this post.

There will be some more exciting post coming up, I have them all prepared, so keep an eye out for them! Oh and before I forget, go and check out this blog - I think it is amazing, great for students to read in their free time! Here is the link - www.askwillonline.com

Until next time...
